Hey, can I talk for a bit? It’s about some stupid, hurtful habits,
But I can’t keep still anymore - treat it like a joke, how’s that sound?
I’ve been so pumped for Yobanashi Deceive because I knew we were going to get a deeper look into Kano’s character. I expected that we were going to get a peek at his more sinister side that Jin’s been hinting at with his comments about how he “makes others dance” with his hands and such.
But what we got was just as great, if not better! He could’ve made Kano your typical mastermind jokester, but what he did is give us a glimpse of a troubled teen’s mind. Kano’s smart, he’s witty, but by the same token he’s very much fragile and insecure. What we got gives a clearer understanding of why Kano chooses (yes, chooses!!!) to be the comic relief and how his power has affected his personality. Bear with me here, okay, as I break this sucker down!!
